Reward terms
These terms cover rewards claimed by scanning a Kyuq QR code. The business that issued the code may have its own promotion terms as well.
Who pays the reward
The reward is offered and funded by the business whose name appears on the QR code, not by Kyuq. Kyuq provides the software that issues the codes and instructs the payment.
If a reward does not arrive, the business that issued the code is the right place to ask. Kyuq cannot release, increase or re-issue a reward on its own.
Each code works once
A QR code can be claimed a single time. Once a reward has been sent, scanning the same code again will show that it has already been claimed.
If two people scan the same code at the same moment, only one claim is accepted. The other is told the reward is already being processed.
Why some codes ask for a bill number first
Some businesses require the shop to enter your bill number before a code becomes claimable. Until that happens, the code will say so and no reward can be claimed from it.
This exists to protect you and the business. Without it, a printed sheet of codes could be claimed by anyone who found it, which would mean fewer genuine rewards reaching genuine customers.
If you see this message, ask the shop to add your bill number, then scan again.
Codes that do not win
Some campaigns are run as a prize draw, where only some codes carry a reward. A code that is not a winner will say so immediately and will never ask for your payment details.
You will never be asked for a UPI ID or bank details for a code that is worth nothing.
The details you give us
The UPI ID or bank details you enter are used only to send this one reward. They are stored encrypted, and the business that issued the code sees only a masked version, such as ra****@okaxis.
A name or mobile number is only requested when the issuing business has chosen to ask for it. Where a field is not shown, it is not collected at all.
When a payment fails
A payment can fail for reasons outside anyone's control: a UPI ID that no longer exists, a bank that is not responding, or an account that cannot receive money.
When that happens the business can retry the payment. Contact the business shown on the claim page if a reward has not arrived.
Expiry
Every code has an expiry date, at most twelve months from the day it was created. After that date it can no longer be claimed.
